Nurse Manager

Robbinsdale Women’s Center is seeking a full-time Nurse Manager, at 30 hours a week. Under the general supervision of the Medical Director and Center Director, the Nurse Manager oversees the provision of patient care and medical services operations and performs some direct patient care and administrative tasks.

The nurse manager will supervise and work alongside our team of nurse sonographers. Our team of Nurse Sonographers serves as medical professionals providing clinically relevant information to assist in the care and education of our patients through limited obstetrical medical imaging. The Nurses assess patient needs, perform urine pregnancy tests and give results, and provide evidence-based health education for patients and their families to support an understanding of their medical condition and their medical options. We do not provide prenatal care, however, our team maintains a working knowledge of obstetrical and gynecological care, nursing methods, principles, and practices in relation to the prevention and treatment of disease, safety and infection control, clinical systems, supplies, and equipment. Qualifications for the Nurse Manager include:

A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from a four-year college or university is required.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Current RN License in Minnesota in good standing with the State Medical Board.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Current Driver’s License.
  • Didactic Ultrasound Training Certificate from a recognized Ultrasound Training Program based on AWHONN guidelines as applicable.
  • Documented Ultrasound Scanning Competency of at least 50-70 scans.

*RWC is willing to provide limited obstetrical ultrasound training if all other requirements are met.

Registered Nurse

Robbinsdale Women’s Center is expanding our medical staff and seeking a full-time Nurse Sonographer. This position is 4 days a week for up to 30 hours.

Our Nurse sonographers work under the supervision of our Medical Director and Nurse Manager. Our team of Nurse Sonographers serve as medical professionals providing clinically relevant information to assist in the care and education of our patients through limited obstetrical medical imaging. The Nurses assess patient needs, perform urine pregnancy tests and give results, and provide evidence-based health education for patients and their families to support an understanding of their medical condition and their medical options.
